Statement

My photographic compositions are images that are made with minimum elements, everyone of them used intentionally to support my thoughts and ideas. I have found in this technique the best tool to create my own universe. I also find great inspiration in reading and writing poetry. My production consists of photographs, objects, poetry and installations.

I use photography to build spaces in new environments that have the intention to question the spectators.

I choose objects, I decontextualize them to locate them in new settings, in playful constructions, which seek estrangement and discomfort.

I propose a reflection on the human being, his individuality, his social and physical environment.

We are hostages of a system where we are driven by desires that we constantly want to fulfill. What do we do with the impossibility, with the desire that is not fulfilled? How to imagine a world where realities can be built without having to be in that perpetual search? Should we human beings continually question our individual and social reality? Question what we believe to be definitive? What supports the illusion that we can control our humanity?
